INVITATION TO ATTEND THE MFC ANNUAL THEME MEET ON RESURGENCE OF
INFECTIOUS DISEASES AND THE INDIAN SOCIETY 1 TO 3 JANUARY 1998,
YATRI NIWAS, SEVAGRAM, WARDHA.
Dear friend,
We welcome you to the forthcoming MFC Theme Meet. Over the
last one year there has been an enthusiastic response to the
discussion on Resurgence of Infectious Diseases.
In view of the
importance of this year's theme we have decided to debate the tcpic
for- three days. The AGM will be on- the fourth day.
* Background papers are in MFC bulletins 240-41, 242-43, 246-47,
248-49 and 250-51 and some of the old issues of the bulletin (see
enclosed list of background papers)

A bundle of some more background papers will reach you
separately in December.

The agenda is enclosed.
*
There will be no presentation of papers but summaries of
papers will be presented.

The venue is Yatri Niwas - The meet will start at 9.00 a.m.
on 1st January 1998 and end by 6.30 p.m. on 3rd January 1998.

Boarding and lodging @ Rs.60 to 75 per day, plus
fee will come to approximately Rs.500 for the
registration

We do hope some future plans will be formulated; as well as
resolutions on controversial issues.
Three evening sessions are being planned to impart some
skills.
