aspects of the Family Pastoral Service, as it has
developed in India, as well as abroad.

* To help them to discover the needs of the family
and the possibilities of meeting these needs.
* To assess their aptitudes regarding Family Life
Education, Marriage Counselling, Family Planning
and Family Social Welfare with a view to sending
some for further specialised training.

* To equip them with the skills necessary to work in
or run a Family Life Centre.
